Michelin Starred Chef Alan spent 25 plus years running top end restaurants then ‘retired’ from that game and has been working as the ‘Performance Chef’ with athletes of all abilities since 2014. We are currently working long term with Specialized Factory Racing as their Performance Chef. We advise a number of world class triathletes, elite cyclists and ski mountaineers as well as working as a consultant in the world of F1
Performance Chef’s first client went on to become the Olympic triathlon champion and we provided food and nutritional advice to over 30 Olympians in Paris including multiple medalists, so no pressure then! We help you understand the different nutritional demands associated with starting or progressing your training. There is a big difference between eating well and eating optimally, your meals need to reflect your training load, so a self righteous green juice on rest day is all well and good, but try to fuel a key interval session with this and you will go pop! The world of nutrition is confusing with so much conflicting advice so my job is to simplify things for you, weed out all the trendy nonsense and give you good tasty food that you want to eat.
